Seramik Plaka Taşı
Multi-piece ceramic sets designed to support heating elements and provide electrical insulation in industrial furnaces and high-capacity heating units. While providing high mechanical strength at the terminal points of the system, it maintains structural integrity against sudden temperature changes in the body section. Head Stone Material: Steatite (C221) Body and Base Stone Material: Cordierite (C520) Manufacturing Method: Dry Pressing
Category:
Insulation CeramicsCeramic plate stones used in industrial heating technologies serve a critical function in safely positioning resistance wires and preventing electrical leaks. These sets consist of a combination of two different technical ceramic types to manage the thermal and mechanical stresses in different regions of the system.
Component Properties:
Head Stone (Steatite C221): The head stone used at assembly and connection points is manufactured from Rauschert-quality C221 Special Steatite material. Densified by firing at approximately 1300°C during the production process, this part has an open porosity value of 0.0%. It prevents electrical leaks thanks to its high dielectric strength and provides the mechanical strength needed at connection points. Its non-moisture-absorbing structure increases aging resistance.
Body and Base Stones (Cordierite C520): The large-surfaced body stones where resistance wires are wound, along with the supporting base stones, are manufactured from C520 grade Cordierite ceramic, which has high thermal shock resistance, as they are exposed to continuous heating and cooling cycles. The fine-grained and porous structure (20%), combined with a low coefficient of thermal expansion, prevents the material from cracking under thermal shocks.
Applications:
-
Industrial annealing and melting furnaces.
-
High watt density plate-type heating units.
-
Large-scale systems requiring mechanical support and insulation for resistance conductors
