Extruded Ceramic Bobbin
Technical ceramic components produced by the extrusion method to support heating wires over long distances and provide electrical insulation in industrial autoclaves and large-scale furnaces. Their multi-hole and longitudinal channeled structure ensures safe thermal operation by preventing the sagging of heating elements. Material: Cordierite (C520) Manufacturing Method: Extrusion Primary Function: Supporting heating element and thermal shock resistance
Category:
Insulation CeramicsIn large-scale autoclave applications such as industrial sterilization, composite curing, and high-temperature furnaces, cordierite stones produced by the extrusion method are used to form the backbone of heating elements. This manufacturing technique allows for the production of parts in the form of long rods and multi-hole tubes, ensuring that conductors are carried over large furnace volumes without sagging or short-circuiting.
This product is manufactured from C520 grade cordierite ceramic, which is based on magnesium-aluminum-silicate minerals. This material, which acquires a fine-grained 20% porous structure by being fired at high temperatures during production, exhibits high resistance to sudden temperature changes due to its low thermal expansion coefficient. Providing an operating temperature up to 1240°C, C520 cordierite prevents the ceramic from cracking during heating and cooling cycles within the furnace, maintaining its structural integrity.
Applications and Functions:
-
Supporting heating wires in large-volume autoclave ovens and textile drying machines.
-
Insulation of long-distance heating lines in glass processing and composite curing plants.
-
Thermal resistance support in industrial production lines experiencing frequent and rapid temperature changes.
-
Mechanical support and electrical insulation in the internal assembly of heating elements in furnaces
