Insulation CeramicsManufactured specifically for industrial heating applications, these articulated stones are made from C221 Special Steatite material by Rauschert. Densified by firing at temperatures around 1300°C during the production process, these ceramic insulators prevent moisture absorption with a 0.0% open porosity rate and maintain their structural integrity. Compared to standard steatites (C220), the addition of barium carbonate significantly increases the mechanical strength of the material.
Suitable for systems reaching operating temperatures of 1000°C, this product prevents contact between heater wires and eliminates short circuit risks. Its articulated design provides the flexibility needed in band heater production and ensures a precise fit on curved surfaces.
