Ceramic Spacer

During the production of cartridge heaters, ceramic spacers placed between the cartridge heater stones are a critical component for the reliability of the system. Manufactured from high-purity Magnesium Oxide (MgO) ceramic, these insulating parts keep the inner body consisting of cartridge stones fixed exactly in the center of the outer metal sheath. This centering step prevents the resistance wire from contacting the outer sheath, eliminating the risk of short circuits.

Their high thermal conductivity values make this material preferred in heavy industry heaters. The heat generated inside is transmitted to the outer sheath through the MgO ceramic spacers and the magnesium oxide powders that pass around these spacers to fill the gaps. These stones, which also have high dielectric strength, prevent electrical leaks while ensuring heat conduction.
