SILIGAINE® is a flexible braided fiberglass sleeving designed to provide fundamental thermal and electrical protection in high-temperature applications. Maintaining its form at operating temperatures between -60°C and +300°C, this product offers basic electrical insulation with a dielectric strength of >800V. Although it is uncoated, it acts as an effective thermal protection barrier due to the natural thermal resistance of fiberglass.
Its flexible braided structure allows it to be easily bent and applied in tight spaces, curved installations, and connection points of varying diameters. It is resistant to mechanical wear and high heat.
Its application areas are concentrated in industrial and commercial systems where heat is intense. It is widely preferred, especially around resistance wires, for the outer insulation of heating elements utilizing MGO stones or mica, and for protecting connection cables exposed to high temperatures. It serves as a reliable insulation material in industrial heaters, ovens, domestic appliances, and connection points of thermal switches. Its non-combustible structure and halogen-free content meet occupational safety standards.
