SILICABLE® NTSE 2000 is a high-performance cable with a plain nickel core (type 200), designed to operate in extreme temperature conditions. Its internal structure features a silicone varnish-coated fiberglass complex, while the outer surface is protected by a silicone varnish-coated fiberglass braid. Thanks to this special insulation structure, it can be safely used continuously at temperatures between -60°C and +350°C.
The cable has a nominal voltage of 300/500V and can withstand a test voltage of 2000V. It shows adequate resistance to thermal shocks and has good ageing performance in hot environments. It is also resistant to atmospheric agents such as UV, ozone, and oxygen, as well as common chemical agents. The bending radius of the cable is 5 times its outer diameter (5 x Diameter).
It is preferred in many areas requiring high heat resistance. It is safely used in the cabling for heating resistors, cartridges, bands, and plates. It is widely found in domestic electrical heating appliances, such as kitchens and professional ovens. It also plays a key role in heavy industry applications, including machines for thermoplastics or rubber, as well as industrial furnaces and air ovens.
