SILICABLE® NTSD-L is a unipolar cable with composite insulation, resistant to continuous operating temperatures between -60°C and +400°C. At its center, it features a concentric Nickel type 200 core. The insulation structure consists of impregnated fibreglass covered by a coated fibreglass braid.
The NTSD-L model has a rated voltage of 300/500 V and can withstand a test voltage of 2000 V. It exhibits excellent resistance to thermal shocks and to the oxidization of the core. The standard product colour is white.
Its applications are directed towards systems with high temperatures. It is preferred for the cabling of heating resistors, cartridges, bands, and plates. It is safely used in domestic electrical heating appliances, such as kitchens and professional ovens. Furthermore, it operates in machines for thermoplastics or rubber, industrial furnaces, and air ovens.
