Siliflon® EFEP is a cable designed to operate in demanding temperature and environmental conditions. It uses a flexible tinned copper core (for the EFEP model) compliant with IEC 228. The insulator is made of an FEP fluorinated polymer.
This cable can operate at continuous working temperatures from -90°C to +205°C and withstands peaks at +220°C. Regarding its electrical characteristics, it has a working voltage of 450/750 V and a test voltage of 2500 V. It exhibits excellent resistance to aggressive chemical atmospheres, humidity, and UV. It also features excellent mechanical strength.
Its applications are diverse. It is frequently preferred for the wiring of household appliances and electronics. It is safely used for wiring in hot or cold environments, such as cryogenics. It provides durability in wiring within aggressive environments, including humid and chemical conditions. Additionally, it is a suitable solution for wiring that requires compact fitting and excellent mechanical strength.
