SILICABLE® EVS is a unipolar wire with composite insulation. At its core, it features a flexible tin-plated copper core , class 5 as per IEC 60228. The insulation structure consists of impregnated fibreglass lappings and a silicone-coated fibreglass braid. Thanks to this structure, it can operate continuously at temperatures between -60°C and +280°C.
The cable has a rated voltage of 300/500 V and can withstand a test voltage of 2000 V. It exhibits good resistance to thermal shock.
It is ideal for connections in high-temperature devices. It is safely used in the cabling for heating resistors, cartridges, bands and plates. It is found in the wiring of domestic electrical heating appliances, such as kitchens and professional ovens. It is also frequently preferred in applications like machines for thermoplastics or rubber , as well as industrial furnaces and air ovens.
