SILICABLE® ECS-ES is unipolar cables developed for applications demanding superior flexibility. They feature extra-flexible cores classified as class 6 according to IEC 60228. Durable silicone rubber is used as the insulation material.
This series continuously delivers high performance at temperatures between -60°C and +180°C. It offers good resistance to thermal shock and UV. It also possesses excellent alternate bending strength. Thanks to its halogen-free structure, it ensures low smoke density and low corrosivity of gas emissions in the event of a fire. It is also fire retardant.
It is particularly preferred in moving installations subject to alternate bending and in wiring requiring a low bending radius in tight spaces. It is widely used in the internal wiring of household electrical heating appliances and industrial appliances that demand highly flexible cables. Furthermore, it is highly suitable for use as measuring cables.
