Manufactured by Aperam, CuNi 23 is a resistance alloy containing 23% nickel and manganese additions, with the balance consisting of copper. It has a resistivity of 0.30 Ω.mm²/m and can be used up to a maximal operating temperature of 400°C.
This alloy presents the particularity of being very malleable and having a good resistance to corrosion until temperatures of 400°C. Its good solderability also provides convenience during the manufacturing and assembly process. The ideal application areas in the industry are all types of resistances used at low temperatures.
