CuNi 02 is a copper-nickel based alloy with 2% nickel content, offering high malleability and good resistance to corrosion. Withstanding up to 300°C, it provides stable performance in resistances used at low temperatures.

Manufactured by Aperam, CuNi 02 is a resistance alloy containing 2% nickel, with the balance consisting of copper. It has a resistivity of 0.05 Ω.mm²/m and can be used up to a maximal operating temperature of 300°C.
This alloy presents the particularity of being very malleable and having a good resistance to corrosion until temperatures of 300°C. Its specific very low resistivity of 0.05 Ω.mm²/m makes it a useful alternative for certain electrical calculations and design requirements. Its good solderability provides convenience during the manufacturing and assembly process. The application areas in the industry are all types of resistances used at low temperatures.
