Muscovite Mica Tube
Muscovite mica tube is a rigid and cylindrical insulation material designed for industrial heaters requiring high electrical insulation. Withstanding a 500°C continuous operating temperature, it ensures safe insulation of resistance wires passing through or wound on it.
Category:
Micanite Sheet and TubeThe muscovite mica tube is an industrial insulation element obtained by rolling and baking natural muscovite papers, which possess superior electrical insulation properties, in a cylindrical form with high technology using silicone ricin. It maintains its structural form and insulation strength up to 500°C in continuous use and up to 700°C in momentary fluctuations. Its primary function is to strictly prevent high voltage arcing (short circuits) that may occur on the machine or user by cutting off the contact of electrically charged resistance wires with the outer body. This product group, which we import and supply directly to the industry, has a completely safe and environmentally friendly structure containing no carcinogenic asbestos.
It is safely used especially at the heart of industrial heat guns, plastic welding machines, soldering iron tips, special furnaces, and tubular heaters. Its rigid and smooth cylindrical structure allows the resistance wire to be wound on the tube in a perfect form and at equal intervals. Although its heat resistance limit is lower compared to the phlogopite series, it acts as the most reliable insulation barrier in power electronics and standard industrial heater applications since its breakdown voltage and electrical insulation capacity (dielectric strength) are much higher.
