Quartz Cam Tüp
With its one-end closed structure, the quartz glass tube is a special enclosure used in immersion type heaters, protecting the resistance from the corrosive effect of the liquid in acid and chemical baths.
Category:
Quartz GlassUnlike standard pipes with both ends open, quartz glass tubes are specifically manufactured with one end closed (in the form of a test tube) for "immersion" heating applications. In electroplating facilities, anodizing baths, and industrial chemical pools, the heating element must be immersed directly into corrosive liquids. At this point, the one-end closed quartz tube comes into play, completely isolating the electrical resistance inside from aggressive chemicals outside.
Thanks to its high-purity silica structure, it does not release particles or metal ions into the liquid, which preserves the purity of the chemical pool. Thanks to its high heat resistance and extraordinary thermal shock resistance, it absolutely does not crack or break even if it is immersed in a cold acid bath while the resistance inside is burning at incandescent temperatures. These tubes, which we supply in both transparent and sanded (opaque) versions, are the most reliable and long-lasting protective shields of liquid heating processes in heavy industry.
