Micanite Sheet and TubeProduced by pressing the natural muscovite mineral, one of the fundamental insulation elements of materials science, under silicone resin with high technology, the muscovite mica sheet is specifically designed for production lines where electrical insulation (dielectric strength) is sought at the highest level. In terms of thermal capacity, it maintains its structural integrity up to 500°C in continuous use and up to 700°C in momentary fluctuations. As one of the core production components, it is situated at the heart of standard wire-wound heaters and strictly prevents the electric current from passing to the outer body or the machine. This product group, which we import, has an asbestos-free, completely safe, and environmentally friendly structure.
Being extremely easy to process, cut, and shape mechanically, these sheets are safely used in the manufacturing of strip heaters, band (nozzle) heaters, toasters, hair dryers, and various industrial heaters. Although its heat resistance is lower compared to phlogopite mica, the electrical resistance (breakdown voltage) it shows against high voltage is much superior to phlogopite. Therefore, it is the most rational engineering solution in all manufacturing processes where extreme furnace temperatures are not required, but excellent electrical insulation and fine workmanship are a must.
